Silouettes: Birds and Butterflies

My friends are birds and butterflies,

We float on top the breeze,

We gaze at shapes in clouds and skies

With leaves stuck to our knees.

My friends are owls and raccoons,

We rely on every star for light.

We laugh and sing and talk to moons

With ink drops in our bite.

My friends are ghosts and spirit orbs,

We are always searching for home,

We haunt and walk till we can't anymore.

With passion, we're never alone.

My friends are lovers and dancing kids

We dance to the earth's heart beat.

My friends are lovers and dancing kids

With barefoot blisters on our feet.
